Training and nutrition

It tells you what weight to lift. And why.

Most apps just log your sets. This one decides your progression with your own numbers in front of it, explains why, and lets you overrule it.

“Every set hit its reps and you still had room. Time to add +2.5 kg.”

In open beta for iPhone. Installs through TestFlight, Apple’s testing app. It’s free.

How it decides

Three things go in. One comes out.

Without a watch it still works: on sleep and load.

Type what you did today and see what it would say for tomorrow

Not a demo: it is the same rule that runs in the app after every workout, copied to the browser and checked against the code. Reps rule; RIR can only hold it back.

It doesn’t log what you did. It decides with you.

Training

Your program, built for you

You start with a ready-made program for your sport, free. Generating one with AI or turning your coach's PDF into a routine are Pro. Your records and weekly volume, always in view.

  • Every weight increase comes with its reason
  • The plates for each side of the bar, worked out
  • A button to overrule it
Nutrition

Your calories adjust themselves

To your real weight, not to a chart. If your weight stalls, the target is recalculated and it tells you. AI scanner (two analyses a day on the free plan), barcodes, and recipes that fit what’s left of your day.

  • “950 kcal and 28 g of protein left” — with ideas that fit
  • Your whole week at a glance
Aether Coach

A coach that already knows your history

Ask it anything: it answers with your data in front of it — your streak, your kcal, your records. “What do I cook with what’s in the fridge?” and “Do I add weight this week?” are the same conversation.

Community

Training sticks when you level up

Ranks, achievements and a weekly league with your friends. Your volume and sessions earn XP: consistency you can watch climb.

And also

What a screenshot doesn’t show

Bring your history

Coming from Strong or Hevy? Your sessions and records come with you. It tells you how many made it in and what was left out — never an “imported ✓” over a half-read file.

It knows how to come back

After weeks off it won’t suggest the weight you left at. It drops the loads for the first sessions and explains why. You decide.

On your lock screen

Your streak and remaining calories in a widget. And you can ask Siri how many you’ve had today without opening anything.

Your progress is yours

A backup so changing phones doesn’t cost you years of training, and a public page only if you switch it on.

Blocks with an end date

Six weeks with a closing date from day one. When they end it sums up what actually changed, measured on your best sets.

It doesn’t scold you

Sunday’s summary arrives even after a bad week. It tells you how it went without grading you, and ends with one concrete thing to do.

It knows how you arrived today

It reads last night’s sleep from Health and, if you wear a watch, your HRV and resting heart rate. With that and the last few weeks’ load it decides what to propose: the day after five hours of sleep is not the day after eight. Without a watch it still works, on sleep and load.

Your allergies, in your own words

You write “allergic to nuts and shellfish” the way you’d say it, and it applies to all thousand recipes and to your week’s plan. Dish by dish, from the ingredients — not from a hand-typed tag someone got wrong. Traces still depend on the manufacturer: that label you still have to read.

Before you install it

What everyone asks

What does it cost?

Right now, almost nothing: in open beta, training, nutrition, history and records are free. Two things are Pro from day one — generating your program with AI and turning your coach's PDF into a routine — the rest is yours. When it reaches the App Store there will be a paid tier, and whoever is testing it now will be the first to know.

Do I need a coach to use it?

No. The app decides your progression on its own and explains every call. If you also want a person behind it, you find one in the directory and connect — but that’s an option, not a requirement.

I’m coming from another app. Do I lose my years of training?

No. Export the CSV from Strong or Hevy and it all comes with you: sessions, records and charts. Before saving anything it tells you how many it read and what was left out, so you don’t have to trust it blindly.

What happens to my data?

Your progress lives on your phone, with a backup in your account so changing phones costs you nothing. Your public page only exists if you switch it on, and switching it off deletes it.

iPhone only?

For now, yes. Android will come, but we’d rather do one thing properly than two halfway.

New

Your athlete passport

A public page with your best lifts, your streak and your sessions — calculated from your real app data, not typed by hand. You switch it on from the dashboard with your app account, and the link is yours to share wherever you like.

For professionals

Are you a coach or nutritionist?

You get a web dashboard to run your clients: programming, nutrition and follow-up, with what they log in the app reaching you live.
